So, as you all know, Brandon Chauca is not redshirting this season because NCAA rules would not allow him to. I just want to say that I can confirm that the intention was for him to redshirt. That was part of the plan until they realized that they couldn't do it per NCAA rules. If it were up to Cal and not the NCAA, Brandon Chauca would be redshirting this season.
