Cal has jumped into the mix with an offer to 4-star Rivals250 quarterback Brayden Dorman today. A bunch of schools are stopping by to see him throw this week at Vista Ridge HS in Colorado Springs, Colorado as he is looking to make a quick decision. The Bears are certainly a little late to the party in that he is planning on making a decision within the next few weeks, but he has left open the possibility of moving that decision back by about a month if new schools decide to offer. Cal did, so he likely will give the Bears time to make a pitch and even potentially take a visit. Dorman has already previously released his top five of Arizona, Colorado, Oregon State, Mississippi State and Iowa State. He visited Arizona over the weekend, and that was the last school on the list that he had yet to visit previously.

So, he's working through the process quickly and wants to be an early commit to help whatever program he ends up with so he can help recruit other players to join him. He has the typical pro-style size and skill set making him a really nice fit for most teams. He currently checks in as the 238th-best recruit in the class according to Rivals.

In my conversations with him he has really focused a lot on NFL experience. That matters to him when he's looking at schools, so coaches that have NFL ties are going to be in a good position.

Oregon State has gained the most buzz in his recruitment, but the visit to Arizona seems to have changed things for him. Right now I'd say Oregon State and Arizona are the two schools to beat.
