Wyking's post game comments after the loss to Wazzu (the only team picked to finish below Cal in conference play) were a combination of disappointing and unfortunate. He put it all on his players, essentially saying that the players did not compete, and that he never knows which team (the "try-hard" team or the "give up" team) is gonna show up for any given game.
Whose fault is THAT?! He shares none of that blame? they allowed a dude to take, much less make, ten (10) three point shots? I would not contest the fact that this roster is really short on talent, particularly offensive talent, but defense is in no small part a matter of effort. If that effort is not being given, then I think it has a whole lot to do with the coach.
This is not the first time Wyking has made comments like that. His blame casting is starting to remind me of Dykes.
